Refund & Cancellation Policy

ShadowFox is a brand owned and operated by ZAPPIER SHADOWFOX TECHNOLOGIES LLP, a Limited Liability Partnership registered in India.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all purchases made through ShadowFox, including certification exams, courses, virtual internship programs, and merchandise. By making a payment to ShadowFox, you agree to this policy.

1. GENERAL PRINCIPLES

1.1 All payments made to ShadowFox are final unless explicitly covered under this policy.

1.2 Refund eligibility varies depending on the type of service purchased.

1.3 Refunds, if approved, will only be processed to the original payment method used.

1.4 ShadowFox does not provide international services and does not collect GST at this time.

2. CERTIFICATION EXAMS (INCLUDING SCSA & FOUNDATIONAL EXAMS)

2.1 Nature of the Service

Certification exams are digital assessment products.

Access is typically granted instantly after successful payment.

Exams may have a deadline to complete, clearly specified at the time of purchase.

Exams are conducted via third-party proctoring systems (e.g., AutoProctor).

Results may involve automated and/or manual evaluation.

2.2 Strict No Refund Policy (Digital Access Rule)

Once exam access is granted or a test link is generated:

No refunds will be issued.

No cancellations will be permitted.

No transfers to another individual will be allowed.

This applies regardless of whether the candidate attempts the exam or not.

Because:

The test link is uniquely generated.

Access credentials cannot be reused or resold.

Digital allocation cannot be reversed.

2.3 No Refund for the Following Situations

Refunds will NOT be issued for:

Failure to pass the examination

Failure to attempt within the deadline

Technical issues caused by:

Poor internet connection

Device malfunction

Power failure

Software incompatibility

User inability to complete proctoring requirements

Incorrect email or details submitted during registration

Change of mind after purchase

2.4 Reattempt Policy

SCSA-1 includes one (1) free reattempt, valid within 45 days of the original test date.

After the free reattempt expires, full exam fees must be paid again.

Other foundational certifications require full payment for each new attempt.

Reattempt eligibility does not qualify for refund.

3.COURSES

3.1 Cancellation Window

Participants may request cancellation:

At least 24 hours before the official start of the session.

3.2 Registration Fee

Each course includes a small non-refundable administrative registration fee.

If cancellation is approved:

The registration fee will be deducted.

The remaining balance will be refunded.

3.3 No Refund After Commencement

Once the course session begins:

No refunds will be issued.

This applies regardless of attendance or participation level.

3.4 Refund Processing Time

ShadowFox will process approved refunds within 5-7 business days.

Banks/payment gateways may take an additional 10-15 business days to reflect the amount.

4. VIRTUAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS

4.1 Pre-Program Charges

No internship program fees are charged prior to program commencement.

4.2 Swag & Delivery Policy

Swag items are shipped via third-party courier services.

ShadowFox is not liable for courier delays, mishandling, or damage during transit.

Refunds will only be issued if delivery fails due to verified courier non-delivery.

Once a package is marked "Delivered":

Responsibility transfers to the intern.

Packages sent to universities are the intern’s responsibility upon confirmed delivery.

4.3 Fraud & Misconduct

Fraudulent task submissions or academic dishonesty will result in termination.

Partial refunds may be considered at ShadowFox’s sole discretion.

No refunds for incorrect form submissions or payment errors caused by the intern.

5. MERCHANDISE POLICY

5.1 Merchandise is shipped with safety precautions via professional courier services.

5.2 Refunds or replacements will only be considered if:

The product is severely defective, AND

A full unboxing video is provided showing:

The sealed package

Opening process

Clear defect visibility

Failure to provide an unboxing video will result in automatic rejection of refund claims.

Courier mishaps, delays, or minor packaging damage do not qualify for refund.

6. PAYMENT ERRORS

Refunds may be considered only if:

Duplicate payment is made

Payment gateway error occurs

Excess amount is charged due to technical malfunction

Requests must be submitted within 3 days of transaction with full transaction details.

7. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES

7.1 ShadowFox reserves the right to dispute any chargeback with:

Payment gateway records

Login data

Access logs

Exam participation logs

IP records

Proctoring records

7.2 Fraudulent chargebacks may result in:

Permanent disqualification from all ShadowFox programs

Blocking of future registrations

Legal action under applicable Indian laws

Users are encouraged to contact support before initiating any chargeback.

8. NO JOB GUARANTEE DISCLAIMER

ShadowFox certifications:

Validate knowledge and competency.

Enhance profile credibility.

However:

No job placement is guaranteed.

No employment outcome is promised.

Certification is not a substitute for institutional degree.

9. RIGHT TO MODIFY

ShadowFox reserves the right to:

Modify syllabus

Update exam structure

Adjust evaluation criteria

Revise pricing

Such changes will not apply retroactively to already purchased exams.

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

All disputes shall be governed by the laws of India.

Jurisdiction shall be Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
