This Exam & Certification Policy governs all certification exams conducted under the ShadowFox brand, operated by ZAPPIER SHADOWFOX TECHNOLOGIES LLP, Chennai, India.
By registering for any ShadowFox certification exam, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.
1. ABOUT SHADOWFOX CERTIFICATIONS
ShadowFox certifications are designed to validate practical knowledge and scenario-based understanding in specific domains.
Certifications are not academic degrees and do not guarantee employment.
2. EXAM ACCESS & VALIDITY
2.1 Upon successful payment:
Exam access may be granted instantly.
A unique test link is generated for each candidate.
Access credentials are non-transferable.
2.2 Some exams may have:
A specified deadline for completion.
A defined validity window.
A scheduled date (if mentioned at registration).
Failure to complete within the deadline does not qualify for refund or extension unless explicitly stated.
3. STRICT NO-REFUND RULE FOR EXAMS
Certification exams are classified as digital assessment services.
Once:
Access is granted, OR
Test link is generated, OR
Exam credentials are issued
The purchase becomes non-refundable.
This applies regardless of:
Whether the exam is attempted.
Performance outcome.
Change of mind.
Personal scheduling conflicts.
4. PROCTORING & MONITORING
Exams may be conducted through secure proctoring platforms (e.g., AutoProctor).
Candidates must:
Ensure stable internet connection.
Use a compatible device.
Grant necessary permissions (camera/microphone/screen monitoring).
Follow all proctoring guidelines.
Violation of proctoring rules may result in:
Immediate termination of the exam.
Invalidated results.
Disqualification from certification.
No refund eligibility.
5. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
It is the candidate’s responsibility to:
Verify system compatibility.
Ensure uninterrupted power supply.
Maintain stable internet connectivity.
ShadowFox is not responsible for:
Device crashes.
Internet failure.
Browser incompatibility.
Background applications interfering with proctoring.
No retest or refund will be issued for user-side technical failures.
6. EXAM ATTEMPTS & REATTEMPTS
6.1 SCSA-1 Certification
Includes one (1) free reattempt.
Must be used within 45 days of original attempt.
After 45 days, full exam fee applies for new registration.
6.2 Other Foundational Certifications
Each attempt requires full payment.
Reattempts must be purchased separately.
Unused reattempts are not refundable or transferable.
7. EVALUATION & RESULTS
7.1 Evaluation may include:
Automated scoring
Manual review
Scenario-based assessment
Practical analysis
7.2 ShadowFox reserves the right to:
Withhold certification if malpractice is detected.
Conduct additional review if irregularities are observed.
7.3 Certification issuance timeline may vary depending on:
Manual review processes
Proctoring verification
Quality checks
8. ACADEMIC INTEGRITY & MISCONDUCT
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
Impersonation
Using unauthorized materials
Attempting to bypass proctoring
Recording or distributing exam content
Sharing exam questions publicly
Consequences may include:
Permanent ban from ShadowFox certifications
Certificate revocation
Legal action where applicable
9. CERTIFICATION VALIDITY
ShadowFox certifications:
Validate subject knowledge at the time of assessment.
Do not guarantee employment or salary increase.
Are not affiliated with any university or government body unless explicitly stated.
Certification may be revoked if:
Fraud is later detected.
Misconduct is proven.
False identity was used.
10. SYLLABUS & STRUCTURE MODIFICATION
ShadowFox reserves the right to:
Modify exam structure
Update syllabus
Adjust difficulty level
Revise scoring pattern
Change pricing
Updates will not impact already issued certifications.
11. PAYMENT DISPUTES & CHARGEBACKS
ShadowFox maintains detailed logs including:
Login timestamps
IP addresses
Proctoring footage
System activity logs
Access history
In case of a chargeback:
ShadowFox reserves the right to dispute with supporting evidence.
Fraudulent disputes may result in permanent blacklisting.
Legal remedies may be pursued under applicable Indian laws.
Users are encouraged to contact support before initiating any payment dispute.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
ShadowFox shall not be liable for:
Indirect losses
Missed placement opportunities
Candidate’s academic decisions
Career outcomes
Certification represents validation of knowledge only.
13. GOVERNING LAW
This policy is governed by the laws of India.
